The material for these is really thin and they shrunk when I washed them so the size 2 is short on

The material for these is really thin and they shrunk when I washed them so the size 2 is short on my son who is not yet 2. I also didn’t realize these are actually a different brand that August People carries, and it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Thanks so much for the honest review, and I'm sorry these didn't work out for your son: that's frustrating, especially when you're trying to get a good fit for growing kids.

A quick note: these are 100% cotton, so a little shrinkage (2-5%) after washing is normal even with careful laundering, and that can take some length off. But if the 2Y still ran short beyond that, I want to make it right: please email us at service@theaugustpeople.com and we'll take care of you.

I also want to be upfront: these pants are from Aosta, a Korean brand we love and import directly because we believe in their quality. We do note it as the 'brand type' in the listing, but I can see how that's easy to miss when it's not called out in the description itself. So that's on us, and I'm updating our listings now to make it clearer.
