Return Policy

Questions About Sizing?
If you're unsure about sizing, feel free to email us at service@theaugustpeople.com before placing your order. We recommend sizing up since kids are always growing!


Returns & Store Credit

  • Items returned within 30 days of delivery will be refunded to your original payment method.
  • Returns after 30 days will be issued as an August People e-gift card.
  • Payments made with a gift card or e-gift card will be refunded via a new e-gift card. Note: E-gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.

How to Make a Return or Exchange

  • Contact us at service@theaugustpeople.com for return instructions. Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Once we receive the item(s), we’ll process your return and issue a store credit (minus shipping). For returns within 30 days, your original payment method will be credited (minus shipping).

Using Store Credit
Your store credit will be emailed as a gift card code. Simply apply the code at checkout before completing your order.


Conditions for Returns

  • Sale & Discounted Items: Final sale. No returns or exchanges unless the item is faulty.
  • Health Items: Underwear cannot be returned for health reasons.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged with original labels intact. Returns must also be free of animal fur, odors (e.g., smoke, dampness), and other contaminants.

Faulty Items
If you receive a damaged or faulty item, contact us at service@theaugustpeople.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be unwashed and unworn.

For faulty items, we’ll offer:

  • A replacement (if available)
  • Store credit
  • Refund
