Can I return items?
We hope you love your purchase but if you don't, we will be happy to accept your return within 14 days of your purchase for store credit only.
What items are eligible to be returned or exchanged?
Items that are in their original condition within 14 days of purchase. These items must be unwashed, unworn and have original tags. Items not in this condition will not be accepted. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Items which are damaged or defective may be returned or exchanged at any time.
How long do I have to return or exchange an item I bought online?
Returns must be received within 14 days of ship date.
How do I complete a return?
Please email service@theaugustpeople.com along with your order number and reason for return. We ask that you wait until your return has been approved before mailing the purchase back to us. We are not responsible for items mailed back without first being approved and cannot guarantee full refund in such events. Once approved, please include your packing slip and mail it along with the item(s) you wish to return. Shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.
Can I exchange an item?
We cannot guarantee that the style or size will be in stock by the time we receive your exchange. Please follow directions for a return and we will issue you a store credit to purchase the items you wish to exchange for. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and you will be responsible for shipping fees associated with mailing the items back to us.
Who pays for shipping?
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, except in the event of a defect. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Original shipping costs are not refundable.
