Can I Return Items?
We want you to love your purchase! If you're not satisfied, we accept returns or exchanges on unworn, unwashed, and undamaged merchandise.

  • Within 30 Days: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
  • After 30 Days: You'll receive an August People e-gift card.

Note: E-gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.


What Items Are Eligible for Returns or Exchanges?

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and have original tags attached.
  • Final Sale Items: Cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Damaged or Defective Items: Can be returned or exchanged at any time.

If an exchange isn’t possible due to inventory changes, we’ll refund your original payment method. Exchanges submitted after 30 days will be issued as e-gift cards.


How Long Do I Have to Return or Exchange an Item?
You have 30 days from the ship date to initiate a return or exchange.


How Do I Complete a Return?

  1. Email us at service@theaugustpeople.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for approval before sending your items back. Returns without prior approval may not guarantee a full refund.
  3. Once approved, include your packing slip and mail the items back.

Note: Return shipping costs are your responsibility.


Can I Exchange an Item?
We can’t guarantee that your desired size or style will still be available. Follow the return process, and we’ll issue store credit so you can reorder your preferred items.


Who Covers Shipping?

  • For Returns: You cover return shipping costs.
  • For Defects: We’ll handle the shipping.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
