Can I return items?

We want you to absolutely love your purchase, but if you're not satisfied, we'll gladly accept returns within 30 days of purchase for store credit only.

What items are eligible to be returned or exchanged?

We accept returns for items in their original condition within 30 days of purchase, which means they must be unwashed, unworn, and have their original tags attached. Items not meeting these criteria will not be accepted. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Damaged or defective items, however, can be returned or exchanged at any time.

How long do I have to return or exchange an item I bought online?

Returns must be processed within 30 days of ship date.

How do I complete a return? 

Kindly email service@theaugustpeople.com with your order number and reason for return. We request that you await approval before sending your purchase back to us. Please note that items returned without prior approval may not guarantee a full refund. Once approved, include your packing slip and mail the item(s) you wish to return. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Can I exchange an item? 

We can't ensure that the style or size you want will be available when we receive your exchange. Please follow the return instructions, and we'll provide you with store credit to buy the items you want to exchange for. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and you'll need to cover the shipping costs for returning the items to us.

Who pays for shipping?

You are responsible for covering the shipping expenses for returning your item, except in the case of a defect.  Shipping costs are non-refundable, including the original shipping fees.
